Scope & Eligibility
The Competition seeks groundbreaking innovations with the potential to advance Pharmaceutical Technology. Projects may include fields such as:
- Drug Repurposing
- Drug Discovery
- Manufacturing Processes
- Digital Health
- Personalised Medicine
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Applications
- Nanotechnology
- Other emerging areas in Pharmaceutical Technology
Who can apply?
The Competition is open to research groups, startups, companies and innovators. Participants may apply individually or as part of a team.
Project eligibility
Submitted projects must:
- Be at a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) between 3 and 7;
- Foster breakthrough innovation with a direct impact on advances in Pharmaceutical Technology;
- Represent an original product, service or process with the potential to positively impact patient care and National Health Systems;
- Comply with applicable regulatory requirements and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs);
- Where applicable, have secured intellectual property rights and Freedom to Operate;
- Be submitted through a complete and accurate application within the Competition deadline.
