The Competition aims to foster innovation by recognising groundbreaking achievements and encouraging collaboration with Tecnimede, helping promising technologies move closer to meaningful impact on healthcare and patient outcomes.
In the context of the Competition, Pharmaceutical Technology is defined as a multidisciplinary field focused on the development, design, manufacturing and delivery of pharmaceutical drugs and medicines. It combines scientific principles, engineering techniques, artificial intelligence and other technologies to improve the efficacy, safety, stability and patient acceptability of pharmaceutical products.
The Competition is sponsored by Tecnimede and managed by HiSeedTech – Associação para a Valorização do Conhecimento.
The Competition is open to individuals, research groups, startups, and established companies working in or for the pharmaceutical industry.
